Sublative Rejuvenation with eMatrix is a unique procedure which uses radio frequency to deliver an effective but controlled ablative and non-ablative fractional treatment to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and improve texture and laxity around the eyes.

 

What are the benefits of eMatrix?

How does it work?

eMatrix uses radio freqeuency which pulsed energy via a grid of matrix spots, inducing a skin injury which is maximized in these tiny, targeted areas. Fibroblasts activated within the “zones” signal collagen to regenerate and remodel, yielding improved skin tone and texture overall. Meanwhile, the surrounding “untreated” tissue then helps to support and accelerate the healing process in the skin.

 

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients usually need a series of three to five treatments to achieve optimal results.

 

What are the results?

Clients can expect a noticeable reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, patients will see an improvement in texture and skin laxity. On average, most results appear over a period of three to six months (it takes time for collagen to grow), but some patients may notice results immediately after treatment.

 

Does eMatrix hurt?

The procedure is uncomfortable, although this is minimized by the topical anesthetic that is put on the skin prior to the treatment for 30 minutes. 

 

Is it safe?

eMatrix is an FDA approved procedure. Clients may notice side effects such as redness and swelling after the procedure which may last a few hours to a few days. With any resurfacing procedure, although rare,  can result in a scar or infection.

 

How many sessions do I need? 

With eMatrix we suggest a series of 4 treatments done about every 6-8 weeks.

 

Is there downtime?

Not really. You may experience mild redness and swelling after eMatrix for 1-2 days but makeup can be applied if necessary.
