What is Thermage?
Thermage is sometimes incorrectly referred to as laser skin tightening, but Thermage does not use a laser. Thermage uses radio frequencies to deeply penetrate the skin with heat. This heat stimulates and creates new collagen production. This gentle heating tightens the skin, reduces wrinkles and cellulite, helps lift brows, cheeks and jaw lines, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
Thermage tightens the following problem areas:
- Double chin.
- Sagging skin.
- Surgical scars.
- Loose belly skin.
- Skin under eyes.
- "Turkey neck."
- Cellulite
- Loose jawline.
- Wrinkles & fine lines.
- Hooded eyes.
- Loose skin on arms.
- Knee, leg & buttock wrinkles.

Does Thermage hurt?
Thermage works by heating the skin. During the procedure, there is little discomfort and no need for a topical anesthetic. Gentle sedation is available if requested. Thermage uses a built-in Cryogen cooling spray, so with each pulse of heat delivered, you get a blast of cold air.
How many sessions do I need?
Thermage is a one-time procedure. If you are over 50, you may benefit from two treatments spaced 4 to 6 months apart. As part of their regular skin maintenance, many clients receive a touch-up treatment every two years.
Is there down time?
There is no down time with Thermage. Clients can immediately return to their normal routine.
